Home based transcription company looking for a contract typist to perform transcription from your home of large audio files. Must have high speed internet, Word, Express Scribe, headset and a foot pedal. Perfect for someone just starting out and looking to add references to your profile. Audio files are 1-2 hrs in length, teleconferences and require a 24-hr turnaround. Amount of weekly work is not guaranteed. All work fluctuates depending on clients needs. A no-compete agreement will be required. REMEMBER: If an audio files is 2 hrs in length, it will take you a minimum of 4 hrs to type up and proof read and this is for experienced typists!
