Media Transcriptionist:
Major Responsibilities:
• To accurately interpret and transcribe raw footage as per television industry standards.
• Good listening and comprehension skills to convert video with speech to text, time coding skills, excellent written English: e.g. grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and spelling. Please specify if you can transcribe in French.
• Should posess excellent transcribing skill for A-roll and B-roll along with time code. Knowledge of Film industry terminology.
• Typing speed 75+ wpm, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and to work effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, with good fact-checking skills.
• High Speed Internet is a must. Should have all the necessary transcription hardware and software.
• Should be able to work from our head office in Etobicoke or work from home.

Qualifications: (Preferred)
• Diploma or certificate in Film production preferred
• 1-2 years Media Transcription experience required
