Allegis is currently seeking full-time and part-time experienced transcriptionists for our growing team. We offer a flexible, casual, and team work environment with work-at-home opportunities
Our part-time transcriptionists (20-29 hours/week) work from home, coming to our office for a short training period and then coming to the office approximately 2-3 days per week to pick up/drop off tapes.
Our full-time transcriptionists (30-40 hours/week Monday thru Friday)
Allegis employees are paid on an hourly basis, with our top performers earning an average of $18 per hour.

Requirements:
* 1 or more years training or experience in the field of transcription or steno * Ability to type 75+ words per minute on a standard keyboard OR the ability to write at 160 wpm or above on a shorthand machine * Work experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook * Work experience with CAT software (stenoscriptionists) * Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills * Ability to sit for extended periods of time and accurately transcribe, verbatim, multi-party interview recordings * Proficiency in internet searching Starting wage ranges from $10-$15 per hour DOE.
