Peace X Peace is looking for an active, engaged intern who can transcribe interviews taken in the field. Peace X Peace is currently interviewing many women from conflict areas in the Middle East, so the applicant will need to have compassion, discretion, and knowledge of current events. In addition, the applicant should have knowledge of applications such as ITunes, at least 70 wpm typing speed, and an excellent command of English. The applicant should also be willing to learn cutting edge new audio technologies.
The internship opportunity is for 3 months. While we require the intern to come to our DC office for 10 hours per week, the intern will be able to work from home through most of the project.
