Deposition Services, Inc., a full service court reporting and transcription company in business for over 35 years, is currently recruiting legal transcribers to work from home. To be eligible for a position, you must: - Be able to type at least 75 words per minute - Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Have basic to intermediate knowledge of legal and medical terminology - Be highly motivated and willing to learn new things - Prior legal or medical transcription experience is preferred but not required You must be willing to come to Rockville, MD for testing, orientation and training (a minimum of 4 times), after which you will work at home. Flexible hours with full-time equivalent work available. If you are interested in the position, please follow the directions below: 1. Prepare a brief response that is no less than 100 words and no more than 300 words explaining why you would be a good at-home legal transcriber. Please outline prior relevant experience, familiarity with legal and medical terms, and computer knowledge, at a minimum. 2.
