At-Home Medical Transcriptionist

Job Details: - High School Diploma/GED
Interprets and transcribes dictation by physicians and other health care professionals to ensure timely and complete medical record documentation.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated typing of 60 wpm. (Standard manuscript typing test). Passes Medical Record Department Medical Transcription test. At least one year previous experience as a medical transcriptionist and successful completion of a medical transcription course is required. Solid knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology required. Previous Radiology transcription experience preferred. Meditech experience helpful. Minimum of two weeks on-site training required; contingent on experience. Must take typing test; please call 443-481-1950 to schedule prior to interviewing. |
