Medical Transcription (NC) |

This is a repost - we thought we had the position filled, but it didn't work out. So here's the scoop:
We need someone with experience in medical transcription. Prefer Orthopedics, Plastics, ENT, Dermatology.
Weekends a MUST. Everyone needs a weekend off now and then, but we need at least three of four weekends a month on a regular basis.
36 hour turnaround required. Starting pay 7 cents/line (65 char/line without spaces). Probable raise at 90 days to 8 cents/line (possibly sooner for the right employee). You must have a fast connection. First couple of weeks work will be e-mailed to you, you type and return documents. Then you must be able to work with a direct connection to our client's database.
We are a small locally owned company, and take great pride in turning in clean, accurate work. We are not a big outfit with a dedicated staff of folks to do the correcting/editing.
If you can turn in client-ready work, we would love to hear from you. Part of the application process will be transcribing a few old files, to see if you actually have what it takes, so resume optional. Just drop us a note and give us the outline of your experience. We're much more interested in whether you walk the walk than whether your resume talks the talk!
This is a 1099 job. No benefits in the traditional sense - but you get to work from home. Work availability varies - we can't guarantee any particular paycheck. But we are adding some clients and have more work than we can handle, which is why we're looking to add someone. |
