Transcriptionist Minimum qualifications include: High school graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Must type accurately at the rate of 60 wpm. Previous experience as a medical transcriptionist in an acute care hospital setting is required. Must be able to transcribe an average of 120 minutes of transcription per day. Would consider candidate working out of home.
