Transcription
* Working from home
* Typing hospital reports including progress notes, history and physicals, consults, operative reports, discharge summaries, emergency reports as well has rehab
* Working for an organization that offers hospital-sponsored continuing education courses as well as further education through outside courses
* With an opportunity to enhance your acute care knowledge within a large healthcare system
General Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Completion of a medical transcription or medical secretarial course
* Minimum one year of experience directly related to medical transcription in a hospital setting
Desired Qualifications
* Membership in the American Association for Medical Transcription and/or Certified Medical Transcriptionist status would be a definite asset
