Allstate Transcription is currently seeking qualified MTs and QA editors to fill several work-from-home IC positions. Currently, we are seeking to hire additional MTs and QAs for two new acute care accounts, which are expanding rapidly. This is hospital and clinic transcription, and work is available round the clock. We are hiring both full-time and part-time ICs who have prior experience working from home with special interest in those who have experience working on the Editscript platform.
Requirements:
• Recent acute care experience
• A minimum of 3+ acute care and/or radiology experience (SORRY, NO NEWBIES CONSIDERED ON THESE ACCOUNTS)
• Prior experience working from home as an MT or editor
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and AAMT BOS rules
• Computer with Windows and MS Word (prefer Windows XP and Office 2003)
• A 9-pin (DB9 or serial port) foot pedal
• High-speed DSL or cable internet (dial up will NOT work)
• US citizenship and a residency in the USA

A little more about these accounts and positions:
• Most dictators are American; there are some ESL but not a large percentage
• Reports are accessed via our website, and done using our software
• Pre-hiring testing will be performed and references will be checked

Allstate Transcription will consider hiring MTs/editors based on the results of both written testing and actual transcription of a sample voice file.
Salary is based on experience, ranging from 7-8 cpl for transcribed reports, and 2-3 cpl for editing voice recognition files. Editors needed only for editing work done by our apprentices from the AIM Program (www.aimprogram.info) and line rates depend upon account assigned to.
