SUMMARY:
PART TIME 20-32 HOURS/WEEK
This is a part time position with an opportunity to develop into a full-time position. Fast growing, multi-location medical service company is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist/Editor. A qualified candidate is a professional, dependable, flexible and self motivated person. To be considered you must have some experience with Medical Transcription and have attained knolwedge of general medical terminology. The right candidate will enjoy competitive pay, bonuses and a flexible environment.
DUTIES:
This position is 80% editing and 20% transcribing. You will perform quality reviews on automatically transcribed reports and make corrections as necessary. This involves listening to dictation audio files from physicians and reviewing the corresponding reports simultaneously. Must have good word processing skills and any additional computer skills is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
Ø Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Ø Proficient with personal computer, Micrsoft Office and general web savvy.
Ø Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Characteristically a self-starter that takes initiative and demonstrates professionalism.
