MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONIST The University of Toledo Medical Center is in search of a full-time remote medical transcriptionist to accurately complete transcription of medical dictation for inpatient and ambulatory reports. A high school diploma is required. Minimum of two years in a major hospital transcription department. Prior transcribing experience with foreign dictators essential. Excellent skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation and style. Typing speed of 60 words per minute required. Must be able to transcribe 1,150 lines per day remotely with no more than 2 errors per report. Must be able to pass timed transcription test. Completion of a course in medical terminology or equivalent experience is required.
