We are recruiting a Transcriptionist to join the Kindred Hospital Division.

FOR INCENTIVE PAY
Under the supervision of the Transcription Leadership Team, the Transcriptionist is responsible for accurate and timely transcription of dictated medical reports. Revolving weekends and holidays are a part of the transcriptionist's schedule.
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent with successful completion of specialized schooling such as a transcription certificate program preferred.
Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience with acute care transcription in multiple specialty disciplines.
Ability to transcribe an average of 95 minutes or more of dictation in eight hours.
Excellent eye, hand and auditory coordination.
Good working knowledge of medical terminology with courses in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and microbiology preferred.
Must be able to pass tests in transcription and proofreading.
