Title: Transcriptionist; 0.0 FTE (as needed-weekend) days & evenings
Department: MEDICAL RECORDS
Job Type: Regular
Hours: 8 hours per week
Work Schedule: Sat 3-11:30 p.m.
Salary Range: $12.81 - $19.28 per hour
Required Qualifications:
Eductation: Requires a degree in Medical Transcription or equivalent in work experience, as noted below, and continuing education.
Coursework in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology is required.
Experience: One year or more of transcription experience in a clinic or hospital (Medical Records or Medical Imaging) setting.
Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology and the various medical specialties is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: Experience with MS Word preferred.
