currently has an opportunity for an experienced
Radiology Transcriptionist / Editor
who is interested in joining a great team and working alongside leaders in the field of radiology.
Duties include:
• Typing radiology dictation
• Maintain TAT goals
• Basic technical problem solving
• Other general office tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Excellent transcription and word processing skills
• 2 + years Radiology transcription experience required
• Minimum of 70 – 80 wpm preferred
• Medical Terminology
• Pharmaceutical terminology (desired)
• Knowledge of computer applications in a medical environment
• Ability to maintain target TAT (turn around time)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Open communication with management and other staff members
• Ability to work independently and as a cooperative team member
• Self disciplined – due to the fact that position is working from home
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with patient information
