Entertainment/Media Transcription Company seeks EXPERIENCED transcriber. <br> <br> The job: <br> Transcription of video files (interviews & raw footage) for entertainment industry. <br> <br> Requirements: <br> * ONLY SERIOUS APPLICANTS WITH AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF TRANSCRIPTION EXPERIENCE!! You will NOT be considered without confirmed experience and references. <br> *Excellent typing skills with no-to-minimal errors. 60 WPM minimum. <br> *Reliable Internet access/availability, and a quality email account/service. <br> *A computer with Microsoft Word. <br> *Quicktime <br> *Ability to meet ANY deadline. <br> *Ability to work at a computer for several hours at a time. <br> *Transcription software and/or pedal HIGHLY recommended, but not required. <br> <br> Work from home! Videos will be delivered electronically via email with a link to the file. ALL transcriptions must be turned around within 48 hours. 24 hour RUSH turnaround is also sometimes required (and paid at a higher rate). <br> You will be an independent contractor and fill out a 1099 for tax purposes. Workload varies anywhere from 10-40 hours per week, based on your ability and job necessity. <br> <br> Compensation: $1 – $1.50 per minute of video transcribed.
