Home-based transcriptionists

Full and part time, for insurance transcription.

HomeTech works with the insurance industry on a national level, providing transcription of recorded statements. We are a stable, growth-oriented company and hold exclusive service contracts with some of the top U.S. insurance companies.

• Our employees work from their homes, transcribing the statements from tapes.
• Tapes are delivered by courier to drop box locations in Everett, Edmonds, Renton and Fife.
• Our business is deadline driven, and we require 30 hour turnaround.
• HomeTech employees are paid on a production basis, with top performers earning an average of $15 per hour.
• Home-based employees are eligible for pay incentives and advancement based on merit.

Requirements
Requirements:

• Type 75 wpm; computer with Internet connection, email and MS Word or compatible equivalent.
• Must be reliable, able to meet deadlines and live within the Puget Sound region.
• Please ensure to include results of a recent 3 minute typing test.
• Test your typing skills on-line by visiting any number of typing web sites.
• Resumes submitted without typing test results will not be considered.
• We require that our employees commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Transcription machines can be leased through our company for $20 per month.
• Our employees are classified as statutory employees, which means we do not withhold federal taxes but do contribute to Social Security and Medicare.
